Medicines use review (‘MUR’) and prescription intervention

A Medicines Use Review (MUR) is an appointment with the pharmacist to focus on how you are getting on with your medicines. It is an NHS-funded service – you don’t have to pay for it. An MUR helps you find out more about the medicines you are taking, pick up any problems you are having with your medicines, for example medicines synchronisation, and to support improve the effectiveness of your medicines. You can ask your pharmacist questions at any time as you both concentrate on getting the most out of your medicines. A Prescription Intervention enables the pharmacist to contact the surgery for anything that may need immediate attention. Both services help assure Medicines Optimisation. Managing your medicines is our first priority.

Electronic transfer of prescriptions (‘ETP’)
